The Vehicle...
- I presently teach in a manual Mini Cooper Classic, three door because the car compliments my teaching style which is economical and safe. The car is fitted with sun/heat protection glass and climate control for our hot summers and the comfort of the pupil.
- As a Driving Instructor I have not only my own safety in mind but that of the pupil and others, therefore I choose to use a car that will make this safety realistic. The car has airbags, ABS with front and rear disc brakes, dynamic stability control, side impact protection beams, hill hold control and E-call.
- HE-MAN dual controls are fitted to ensure that in the event of a pupil failing to recognise or take appropriate action I can on their behalf do so, ensuring that safety is maintained. This also helps the nervous pupil to feel secure.
- The vehicle is adaptable to all learner requirements including full licence holders. The model chosen is also well equipped for use on faster roads such as a motorway.
